    💫 What’s Coming Up?
This next session kicks off March 18, and we’re diving into the magical world of Shrek The Musical! Your child will get to perform some of Broadway’s best-loved songs, all while learning how to master choreography and bring the story to life on stage. The fun doesn’t end there! After weeks of hard work and creativity, we’ll have an exciting Showcase performance on May 20 or June 3, where your child will shine in front of family and friends. It’s a perfect way to celebrate all their hard work and newfound skills.

💃 What Will Your Child Learn?
This is much more than just a dance or singing class – it’s a comprehensive musical theatre journey that will equip your child with essential skills in every area of performance. Here’s a sneak peek of what they’ll discover:

    • Vocal Power and Confidence: Your child will explore how to control their voice, maintain proper breath support, and project their singing with confidence. They’ll learn how to hit those high notes, stay on pitch, and use their voice like a true performer.
    • Mastering Dance Moves: Your child will get a taste of different dance styles, from hip-hop to ballet, jazz to contemporary! They’ll learn to keep perfect rhythm, nail choreography, and develop the grace and agility needed to perform with ease and precision.
    • Performance Skills: Whether it’s acting out a scene or bringing a song to life, your child will learn how to embody a character, use facial expressions, and connect with the audience. They’ll discover the power of performance and storytelling through movement and song.
    • Building Teamwork and Confidence: Musical theatre is all about working together. Your child will form lasting friendships, learn to collaborate with peers, and develop trust and communication skills in a group setting. They’ll experience the joy of supporting others and being supported, which builds self-esteem and teamwork.
    • Understanding Musical Theatre Fundamentals: From music terminology to choreography basics, your child will gain a foundational understanding of musical theatre that will benefit them whether they’re performing in a school play, auditioning for a role, or just enjoying musical theatre as a fan.
    • Creating a Connection with the Audience: Performing isn’t just about getting the moves right or singing the notes; it’s about engaging with the audience. Your child will learn how to emotionally connect with the material and captivate the crowd, building self-assurance that extends beyond the stage.
